Grant Development & Research Coordinator

Jerad began his career at the Metro Nashville Arts Commission assisting nonprofit arts-related organizations with proposal writing and grant compliance. For the last 15 years, he has worked as a faculty member and administrator in higher education at several colleges and universities. As an instructor, he developed course offerings and course content for institutions and assured compliance with state and regional accrediting bodies. As an administrator, Jerad specialized in program development and measurement, as well as faculty supervision and student recruitment. He joined the Skye Strategies team in 2017 as a Grant Development & Research Coordinator.

Jerad holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in International Studies and a Master of Arts degree in English Language and Literature. Currently, he is in the candidacy phase of a Ph.D. in Learning and Leadership. His research interests include organizational development, organizational leadership, and change management. Jerad has published several article reviews and presents regularly at conferences on composition and American modernism. 

Besides pursuing his career and educational interests, Jerad is a frequent volunteer within the Chattanooga community. He has served on the Board of Directors for Chattanooga’s Speech and Hearing Center since 2013, and became Chairman of the Board in 2015.  Frequently, Jerad volunteers for the local school system and has been a consistent volunteer for Chattanooga’s youth athletics programs since 2008.
