Ashley Ledford Branam

Grant Development & Research Coordinator

Ashley holds a Master of Arts in English with a concentration in rhetoric and writing from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga. Her professional background includes grant writing, editing, and creative writing. As a member of the Skye Strategies team, Ashley has worked on a variety of grant development and communications projects spanning the education, healthcare, workforce development, social services, higher education, and research fields. Ashley has a panache for program research and statistical analysis and maintains an extensive research database of funding opportunities, needs data statistics, and research articles that inform and support program design. She has served as the led writer on several successful grant proposals and has developed expertise in federal and state grant development, including National Science Foundation, U.S. Department of Education, Health Resources and Services Administration, U.S. Department of Agricluture, Tennessee Department of Educaiton, and Tennessee Higher Education Commission grants. In addition to working with Skye Strategies, she reviews articles for Harlot, a peer-reviewed journal of rhetoric. Ashley’s short fiction has been published in The Sequoya Review
